This is a lot of three freeform rose cut opals - no two are the same shape, which gives each stone its own character. The opaque white body with rainbow play-of-color means the freeform outlines feel intentional rather than irregular, making them well suited to organic or nature-inspired designs.
Ethiopian opals are known for their vivid play-of-color, the optical phenomenon caused by the diffraction of light through a regular internal structure of silica spheres - and these opaque white stones, sometimes called white or milky Ethiopian opals, display that rainbow shift against a bright, clean ground.
