Stones from Oregon, particularly from sources like the Sun Crystal Mine in Lake County, are untreated and wholly domestic, which carries real appeal for designers sourcing traceable material. Feldspar has perfect cleavage in two directions, so setting and finishing work should avoid hard knocks and ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended.
