Collection: Rubies and Sapphires

Rubies and sapphires are both part of the "big three" gemstones, alongside emeralds. Interestingly, they originate from the same mineral—corundum. The striking red variety of corundum is known as ruby, while all other colors fall under the sapphire category. While sapphires are commonly associated with the color blue, they actually encompass a wide spectrum of hues, ranging from purple to pink to orange and green.
