Collection: Arizona Amethyst

Amethyst, a beautiful purple variant of the Quartz family, is a fairly common gemstone. It’s found worldwide in good quality, with some of the most well-known locations being Brazil and Russia. Since Amethyst is a Quartz, it’s also frequently created synthetically, as seen in quartz watch faces. This makes sourcing Amethyst incredibly important. At Gem Enthusiast, I source my Amethyst almost exclusively from the Four Peaks Mine in Arizona. I love knowing the origin and that it comes from such an original place in the USA. Additionally, I can get it with intriguing natural variations, such as the color lavender or bi-color zoning.
